The “Daiichi” in the school name is named in honor of the Buddhist term of "Daiichi Gitai" which means the ultimate truth or the venerability. The founder of Tsuzuki educational group named the school name for the educational philosophy. It does not signify "number-one" or "the first" in the competition principle, but "personality". It is based on the notion that an individual qualification, a beauty, a strong point, a skill, namely development of personality is the educational philosophy. Our original "Parama Day" established under said philosophy is highly acclaimed as a unique day to learn specialized knowledge and skill.

Club activities have achieved outstanding performances on the international stage; the brass band club has the world's best record receiving two-time Vienna grand awards, the sailing club participated in the World European Class Championship and the equestrian club won the Japan-Korea friendly match.

As we enter the 21st century, international exchange opportunities are provided in school life as part of the internationalization promotion program such as continuous acceptance of many exchange students from other countries including U.S, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Asian counties. We also promote information education focusing on the information-oriented society, such as multimedia.
